Painter Job Opportunity

We are seeking highly skilled painters to join our team on a full-time and permanent basis.

The ideal candidate will be trustworthy, have integrity, and bring a positive attitude to the position and team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Determine the kind and amount of work necessary by examining surfaces and understanding blueprints/instructions.
  • Mix, match, and apply paint to various surfaces while completing touch-ups.
  • Select paints, varnishes, and stains for different surfaces using brushes, sprays, and rollers.
  • Achieve specified dry film thickness using Wet Film Thickness Gauges.
  • Carry out minor repairs as needed and use different tools and brushes to apply paints with attention to details.
  • Erect scaffolding and ladders, and clean equipment and work areas.
  • Support other team members to ensure completion of projects is on-time and in accordance with specifications.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Trade Certificate - Certificate III in Surface Preparation or equivalent (for Blaster/Painters).
  • High Risk Licence for EWP and/or Forklift.
  • Trade Qualifications in Protective Coatings (ACA, NACE, ICorr, or other trade certs).
  • HR licence, high risk licence with EWP and Forklift.
  • Drivers Licence (MR or HR class).
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Ability to meet strict deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Keen attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated, organised, punctual, and reliable.
  • Must have great work ethics.
