Maritime Craftsman Wanted

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Maritime Craftsman to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in boat building and repairs, with expertise in timber and fibreglass repair and restoration.

The successful applicant will have experience working on various structures such as cabins, hulls, roofs, hardtops, and decks. They will also be able to determine repair requirements and procedures, and work effectively in a team environment.

The position offers the opportunity to work in a casual capacity, with potential for permanent employment. Our team is committed to delivering exceptional craftsmanship and quality workmanship, and we are looking for someone who shares this commitment.

The key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Building and installing structures such as cabins, hulls, roofs, hardtops, and decks;
  • Determining repair requirements and procedures;
  • Working effectively in a team environment;
  • Ensuring high-quality workmanship and attention to detail;
  • Meeting deadlines and prioritizing tasks effectively;
  • Maintaining a safe and healthy work environment;
  • Possessing excellent communication skills and being able to work unsupervised.

To be considered for this role, applicants must possess a strong understanding of boat building and repairs, with experience working with power tools. A current driver's license is also required.
