Inventory Management Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled Inventory Management Professional to join our team.

Job Summary:

As an Inventory Management Professional, you will be responsible for delivering a comprehensive and value-added approach to our inventory management. This includes processing all applications for new stock items, standardizing catalogue descriptions, master data, and inventory classification, uploading and maintaining catalogue and inventory details on the Pronto ERP system, managing daily and weekly site replenishment process, identifying and addressing material duplication, and preparing and presenting detailed reports on inventory status.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process all applications for new stock items, ensuring accurate and timely completion of tasks.
  • Standardize catalogue descriptions, master data, and inventory classification, maintaining consistency across multiple sites.
  • Upload and maintain catalogue and inventory details on the Pronto ERP system, ensuring seamless integration with other systems.
  • Manage daily and weekly site replenishment process, forwarding procurement requests to Purchasing.
  • Identify and address material duplication, standardizing like items across multiple mine sites, and implementing efficient inventory management practices.
  • Prepare and present detailed reports on inventory status, including valuation, classification, usage, stockouts, and wastage.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years' experience in a similar role, preferably within the resources sector, with a strong understanding of supply chain management principles.
  • 5 years' experience in specific inventory management, with a current C-Class Driver's License.
  • Diploma of Supply Chain Management or equivalent (highly regarded).
  • Mine site operational knowledge (highly regarded).
  • Strong demonstrable knowledge of Pronto and SAP, as well as Windows operating system and computer network infrastructure.
  • Advanced Excel and Pivot Tables skills for data validation, SOH, and stock movement analysis and reporting.
  • Power BI or business analytics skills (desirable).
