We are seeking a highly skilled Solutions Architecture Professional who will contribute to the shaping of technology standards and controls for our Payments Operations Program.

Job Description:

The Payments Operations Program is responsible for ensuring the reliable, safe, and efficient functioning of critical national infrastructure, which is essential to support the day-to-day business of the Australian economy. The ideal candidate will work with both business and IT departments to promote the public interest by uplifting technology standards and controls aligned to COBIT 2019, ISO 27001, and RBA's Enterprise Control Standard for systems related to the RITS ecosystem.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Defining solutions architectures, high-level designs, and impact assessments for initiatives and/or systems in the organization.
  • Ensuring that Architecture deliverables for Conceptual and Solution Architecture documents are agreed and endorsed by all stakeholders.
  • Collaborating with project managers and other stakeholders in scoping initiatives, ensuring they are scoped in accordance with architectural objectives and principles.
  • Producing Solution Architectures for complex solutions (including infrastructure, cloud, on-premise and hybrid solutions).

Technical Capabilities:

  • Understanding of COBIT 2019 and ISO 27001.
  • Experience with development principles, tools, and frameworks.
  • Experience with Banking or Payment Systems (e.g., SWIFT, NPP, FSS etc.)
  • Experience with automation toolsets (e.g., Puppet, Terraform, vRA, Chocolatey, Packer etc).
