Ikon is a private Institute of Higher Education focused on Art Therapy, Early Childhood Education, Counselling, and Psychotherapy. Our purpose is to propel individuals towards life-altering futures through fostering curiosity and self-development via meaningful learning experiences.

We operate nationally with campuses in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, and Adelaide, as well as Distance Education. Currently, we have around 800 domestic and international students across our 3 Bachelor programs.

We are seeking an experienced educator to join our growing Early Childhood Education faculty and deliver classes.

Our delivery campus is located in the busy and vibrant Haymarket area, within walking distance of the central station.

As a lecturer, you will provide an exciting and engaging learning experience to our students with primary duties being teaching and assessing students.

Key qualifications for this role include:

  • A PhD or master's qualification in a directly related field of study (Early Childhood Education)
  • A minimum of 2 years and preferably 5 years or more of practicing experience in a directly related field of study
  • Teaching or tutoring experience is desirable
