Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Water Treatment Specialist to join our team. As a Water Treatment Specialist, you will play a crucial role in the daily operation and maintenance of water treatment facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Operate pumps, motors, and other water treatment plant equipment with precision.
  2. Calibrate chlorine, pH, and turbidity meters accurately.
  3. Perform routine laboratory tests, including chlorine residual tests efficiently.
  4. Utilize judgment to set parameters for the water treatment process effectively.
Requirements:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • Five years of documented hands-on experience working on-site in a water treatment facility (Class A).
  • Three years of documented hands-on experience working on-site in a water treatment facility (Class B).
  • One year of documented hands-on experience working on-site in a water treatment facility (Class C).
Physical Demands:
  1. Lift: 50 lbs. or more.
  2. Carry: 50 lbs. or more.
  3. Pull: 50 lbs. or more.
  4. Push: 50 lbs. or more.
Working Conditions:
  1. Work at heights above/below ground level.
  2. Work below ground level (ditches, tunnels, etc.).
  3. Work in cold temperatures.
  4. Work in dampness or chilly conditions.
  5. Work in heat.
  6. Work in high humidity.
