Job Description

This is a technical role that requires providing support domestically, including travel. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with various stakeholders and engage in problem-solving.

  • Install and support client's IT systems, networks, and communications.
  • Maintain documentation of ICT systems installations.
  • Provide general technical work and advice.
  • Perform additional duties as required in relation to ICT technical installations and support.
  • Possess the ability to work individually or in a team environment with limited supervision.
  • Engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrate a willingness to learn and showcase sound lateral thinking.
  • Create and update Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Have experience with desktop support, server support, hardware, network, and software installation and troubleshooting.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Formal qualifications or relevant industry experience in:
    • Complex ICT Systems.
    • Desktop – capable of install/support of end-user compute software and hardware.
    • Printers – capable of installation and troubleshooting hardware and software.
    • UPS – understanding of Uninterruptible Power Supply function and installation/maintenance.
    • Physical Network and Server infrastructure – base understanding and operability of network and server devices and distribution cabling.
  • Able to travel domestically for site visits.
  • Proven experience in a Technical support environment performing fault investigation, triaging, and resolution.
  • Able to evaluate hardware prior to introduction against defined criteria.
