BIM Specialist

This role is for a dedicated and skilled BIM professional to join our team in Sydney CBD. As a BIM specialist, you will be responsible for coordinating and assisting in the setup of BIM projects within a team, optimising efficiency and quality of design and documentation processes, and ensuring BIM coordination and execution plans are produced and maintained for each project.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating and assisting in BIM project setup within a team
  • Optimising efficiency and quality of design and documentation processes
  • Ensuring BIM coordination and execution plans are produced and maintained for each project
  • Supporting and auditing projects and flagging non-compliances and assisting with resolution
  • Assisting in the development and up-skilling of staff in all aspects of BIM
  • Producing reports for senior management to track and measure BIM performance
  • Keeping up-to-date with advancements in BIM including add-on software and coordinating adoption and customisation

About You

We are seeking a passionate individual with a strong understanding of Revit and a working knowledge of architecture, project delivery, and modern construction methods including the Building Code of Australia and Australian Standards.

Essential skills and qualifications include:

  • Possession of appropriate tertiary qualifications
  • Working knowledge of Revit
  • Strong understanding of architecture, project delivery, and modern construction methods including the Building Code of Australia and Australian Standards
  • Excellent communication skills, including a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Critical thinking skills that are active throughout the design delivery process
