Heavy Diesel Mechanic Opportunity

We are seeking experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanics to join our maintenance team operating across Western Australia mine sites.

Candidates will have the opportunity to work on a range of OEM equipment, with a mix of field service and site-based opportunities on 2:1 FIFO rosters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnostics, repairs, and servicing of heavy mobile plant
  • Field breakdowns or workshop-based maintenance (dependent on role)
  • Pre-starts, risk assessments, and safety documentation management
  • Liaising with internal teams and site stakeholders to minimise downtime
  • Accurate service records maintenance and safe delivery of works support
Requirements
  • AUS/NZ recognised Heavy Mechanical Trade qualification
  • Post-trade experience - 3–5+ years
  • Proven experience with OEMs such as CAT, Hitachi, Komatsu, Epiroc
  • Mining or civil mobile equipment maintenance background
  • Ability to work autonomously or within a team
  • Fault-finding and diagnostic skills
  • High Risk Work Licence (desirable)
  • Passing pre-employment medical & DAS
  • National Police Clearance
