About the Role

We are seeking a skilled mechanic to join our team. As a mobile plant mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining the condition of equipment, adhering to all applicable standards and regulations.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of hydraulics and basic electrical systems on mobile plant machinery such as Cranes, Trucks, LVs, and Trailers.

This role is open to local Port Hedland residents and candidates from across Australia with a variety of roster structures on offer.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Working effectively with maintenance planners to ensure seamless operations
  2. Maintaining the condition of equipment, adhering to all applicable standards and regulations
  3. Performing comprehensive routine maintenance and repair services
  4. Delivering high-quality work, including inspections, preventative measures, renovations, and modifications
  5. Completing new-build projects when required
Requirements
  1. Australian Recognized Heavy Diesel or Mechanical Trade
  2. Prior Crane exposure is highly desired
  3. Five years minimum experience working as a Heavy Diesel mechanic
  4. Great knowledge working in maintenance operations, driver and control, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic systems
  5. Ability to work in a team and autonomously
  6. Current Australian Driver's license
  7. Mechanical mindset, strong time management and problem-solving skills
