Energy Strategy Advisor Role

Our company is seeking a skilled Energy Strategy Advisor to join our team in Sydney/Melbourne. As an experienced professional in the energy market, you will be responsible for providing strategic advice to clients on energy-related matters.

About the Role
  • You will work closely with senior stakeholders to understand their energy needs and develop tailored solutions to meet those needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact results within a fast-paced environment.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key clients and stakeholders to ensure their ongoing satisfaction and growth.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert advice on energy strategy and policy to clients across various industries.
  • Lead consulting engagements to scope projects, manage junior team members, and build client relationships.
  • Develop and implement strategies to address energy-related challenges facing clients.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, regulations, and best practices to provide informed advice to clients.
Requirements
  • You have at least 6 years of experience in the energy market, ideally gained within Australia.
  • Hold demonstrable management consulting experience working within strategy advisory or commercial due diligence to the energy industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and coach small teams to deliver high-impact results within a fast-paced environment.
  • Confident in engaging directly with leadership teams within energy wholesale or networks businesses, risk, strategy, or investment teams.
  • Possess an entrepreneurial mindset and are passionate about being part of our culture and building a team in a rapidly growing environment.
