Key Educational Data and Innovation Leader

The Townsville Catholic Education is seeking a seasoned professional to lead and support the effective use of educational information management systems, building capacity and understanding of educational data and engaging with key stakeholders to promote innovative approaches to education.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, advising, and supporting program delivery to facilitate access to centralised teaching and learning systems. They will also identify improvement opportunities for future innovation design and execution within TCE.

Additionally, the role involves championing online learning initiatives to both internal and external stakeholders, serving as the central point of contact for online learning opportunities, and advising and supporting school leaders and teachers on leading innovative educational practices in TCE schools.

The ideal candidate will have experience in digital technologies leadership in schools, managing projects and leading teams through change, and project management and change management frameworks. They will also possess tertiary qualifications in education and registration or eligibility for registration with the Queensland College of Teachers.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Leadership in digital technologies in schools (Catholic schools highly desirable)
  • Project management and change management expertise
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems
  • Tertiary qualifications in education, with post graduate qualification in a relevant field preferred
  • Registration, or eligibility for registration, with the Queensland College of Teachers

Other requirements include a current Driver's Licence and ability to travel from time to time within the Catholic Diocese of Townsville, as well as the ability to perform the physical requirements of the role in a safe manner.
