This is a part-time role to support the Surgical Education and Training team.

You will be responsible for accurately entering and maintaining data in relevant databases and systems.

Additional tasks include assisting with email responses, coordinating hospital inspections, organising travel, catering and reimbursement forms, and helping with other projects as needed.

Liaising with key stakeholders, including committees/boards, Trainees, Supervisors and Hospital representatives.

Drafting and sending professional communications, including emails and other formal correspondence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Data Entry and Maintenance: Accurately enter and maintain Trainee, Supervisors, hospital and assessment data in relevant databases and systems.
  • Administrative Support: Assist the Cardiothoracic Surgery Executive Officer with tasks including responding to emails, coordinating hospital inspections, organising travel, catering and reimbursement forms, and assisting with other projects and tasks as needed.
  • Stakeholder Liaison: Liaise with key stakeholders, including committees/boards, Trainees, Supervisors and Hospital representatives.
  • Communication: Draft and send professional communications, including emails and other formal correspondence.
Requirements
  • Administrative Experience: Demonstrated experience in an administrative role within education, healthcare, or a professional training environment.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Organisational Skills: Strong organisational skills and the ability to successfully complete multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Problem Solving: Ability to use your initiative and identify solutions when issues arise.
  • Adaptability: Adaptable to new tasks and processes, and able to learn systems quickly.
