Job Overview

Senior Pharmacist Leadership Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Pharmacist to lead our pharmacy team. As a key member of our healthcare organization, you will be responsible for managing and operating a designated pharmacy area, delivering comprehensive pharmacy services that meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Expert Medicines Advice: Provide expert medicines information, therapeutic advice, and guidance to patients, medical and nursing staff, and other health professionals in an independent and autonomous manner.
  • Patient Outcome Optimization: Contribute to optimising patient outcomes by ensuring the safe, effective, and cost-conscious use of pharmaceuticals in line with hospital policies, divisional procedures, and professional standards.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and support permanent and rotational staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment that promotes excellence and innovation.

Key Qualifications:

  • Pharmacy Expertise: Possess advanced knowledge and skills in pharmacy practice, including medicinal chemistry, pharmacology, and therapeutics.
  • Leadership Experience: Demonstrate strong leadership abilities, with experience in managing and developing teams, and driving business results.
  • Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
