Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team.

  • This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about providing care and support to individuals with disabilities.
  • As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in helping customers live independently and confidently.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with personal care tasks such as showering, toileting, and continence support.
  • Support customers with safe manual handling using equipment such as hoists and transfer aids.
  • Follow individual care plans to support health needs such as epilepsy and wound care.
  • Administer medication safely and accurately according to medication management plans.
  • Prepare and support mealtimes according to mealtime management plans.
  • Help customers maintain a clean and safe home environment.
  • Assist with community access, social inclusion, and everyday outings.
  • Encourage and enable daily living skills to build confidence and independence.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working in a care or support role is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to follow instructions and adhere to policies and procedures.
  • Willingness to undertake training and development opportunities.
