About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Therapeutic Employment Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our organisation, you will play a vital role in supporting clients to develop their workplace skills and thrive in their chosen career.

  • You will work closely with clients to identify their goals and develop personalized therapy plans to help them overcome employment challenges.
  • As a Therapeutic Employment Specialist, you will provide expert guidance and support to clients, helping them to build confidence, independence, and job readiness.
  • Your expertise will also be utilized to develop and deliver mini-mental health training sessions for employment services staff, promoting a culture of mental wellbeing within the organisation.

About You

We are looking for a highly motivated and compassionate individual who possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Your ability to work autonomously and as part of a multi-disciplinary team will be essential in delivering high-quality services to our clients.

  • A strong educational background in rehabilitation counselling or social work is required, with full registration with the relevant professional body.
  • You will need to possess a valid Australian Driver's Licence and have access to your own vehicle, as travel may be required to meet client needs.
  • A passion for empowering individuals with disabilities and those facing employment challenges is a must.

We offer a competitive salary package, including $80,000 - $100,000 per annum (dependent on experience), plus additional benefits such as:
