Job Overview:

Seeking a skilled and efficient individual for a machinery maintenance role on an abalone farm in Victoria.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily maintenance checks to ensure optimal water requirements for production.
  • Rectify, improve and maintain site buildings and grounds.
  • Conduct regular maintenance checks on all water valves and pipelines.
  • Operate pumps and other equipment as needed.
  • Assist with production tasks as required.
  • Maintain nursery heating and filtration and conditioning equipment.
  • Carry out additional duties as assigned by the Site Supervisor.

Requirements:

  • Mechanical aptitude and skills
  • A valid forklift or EWP license is desirable but not mandatory
  • Must be physically fit and able to work hard
  • Effective communication skills are essential
  • Good observational abilities are necessary
