Mechanical Maintenance Planning Leader Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Planning Leader to join our team. As a key member of our Maintenance Planning Department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our mechanical equipment.

Your primary responsibility will be to lead the planning and execution of mechanical maintenance activities, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. You will also be responsible for managing the implementation of maintenance strategies and planning systems to optimize equipment lifecycle.

As a Mechanical Maintenance Planning Leader, you will oversee mechanical maintenance schedules and ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks. You will also be responsible for promoting a safety-first culture within the maintenance team, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and best practices.

In addition to your technical skills, you will have excellent leadership and communication abilities, enabling you to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and resolve equipment-related issues.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical maintenance, preferably in the cement or heavy industry sector
  • Solid knowledge of maintenance planning, mechanical systems, and Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) regulations
  • Strong leadership skills and experience in team management
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities
