Lead English Language Teacher

The successful candidate will lead our English language team, responsible for the academic and professional growth of our teachers. They will work closely with other leaders to ensure that our programs meet the highest standards of quality and excellence.

This role requires a passionate and experienced educator who can inspire and motivate others to achieve their best. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of teaching and leadership, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective English language programs
  • Lead and mentor a team of teachers to achieve academic excellence
  • Collaborate with other leaders to develop and implement school policies and procedures
  • Manage and coordinate teacher training and professional development
  • Assist in the recruitment and selection of new staff members

Requirements:

  • Recognized Bachelor's degree in TESOL or related field
  • Cambridge CELTA or Cert IV TESOL (or equivalent)
  • Minimum three years' teaching experience in quality English language institutions
  • Excellent understanding of TESOL methodology, programs, and assessment practices
  • Experience with online learning management systems and multimodal delivery
  • Demonstrated focus on continuous personal and team professional development

  • Current Working with Children Check (as per state requirements)
  • Full Australian work rights
  • First Aid Certificate (desirable)
