Heritage Information Specialist

  • Administer the Aboriginal Heritage Act 2006 to protect and manage Aboriginal cultural heritage.
  • Maintain a register of Aboriginal places and objects.
  • Collaborate with Registered Aboriginal Parties to ensure effective management of Cultural Heritage Permits and Management Plans.

This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent time management, and the ability to establish effective working relationships. A relevant tertiary degree in Geographic Information Systems or a related field is mandatory for this position.
