About Us

Senior Consultant Position

This role offers the opportunity to work on complex client engagements, where you will supervise and execute projects with responsibility for conducting financial analysis and presenting findings. You will have visibility across the engagement and will be assisted by junior staff. This position is ideal for individuals who are analytical, accounting and finance skilled, and have a strong understanding of the legal process.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Conduct financial analysis using Microsoft Excel and other tools to solve problems, including loss and damage assessment
  2. Review information received and identify further information required to complete the analysis
  3. Analyse and interpret large volumes of information, including accounting, financial and banking records
  4. Review financial statements for compliance with Australian Accounting Standards
  5. Undertake research into companies and industries using Capital IQ and other data sources
  6. Prepare expert reports, client reports and presentations that detail project scope, methodology and findings
  7. Interact and meet with clients, including lawyers, in house counsel and senior accounting personnel
  8. Develop project planning and management skills
  9. Supervise the work of junior staff and provide coaching to junior team members
  10. Undertake networking and marketing activities to develop professional contacts
  11. Assist senior team members with new business development activities
