The Patient Accounts Administrator – Billing role is a key position within our organization, responsible for providing Billing and Collections support to several Ramsay Health Care private hospitals across North Queensland.
The successful applicant will be part of a team that provides critical support to our hospitals, ensuring timely and accurate billing and collections processes.
Key Responsibilities- Generate and submit accounts to patients, health funds, and third-party payers.
- Liaise with health funds and customers to resolve queries and issues.
- Handle account queries and follow-ups in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain the Aged Trial Balance to required Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Process data accurately and efficiently.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required.
- Strong work ethics and reliable worker.
- Ability to complete tasks within designated timeframes and meet KPI targets.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to work under pressure.
- Basic computer literacy in Microsoft Excel.
