We are seeking an experienced Global Tax Compliance Specialist to manage our global tax obligations across the APAC region and additional markets as we expand.
The successful candidate will facilitate the maintenance and adherence of group transfer pricing policies, royalties, and interest agreements. They will own the creation and maintenance of all tax-related policies and processes, ensuring compliance and continual improvement.
This is a key role within our organization, requiring the subject matter expert on all tax matters as they arise. The ideal candidate will be the primary contact internally and with our external advisors.
Responsibilities:
- Manage global tax obligations for indirect (GST/VAT), income taxes, and fringe benefits taxes.
- Facilitate the maintenance and adherence of group transfer pricing policies, royalties, and interest agreements.
- Create and maintain all tax-related policies and processes, ensuring compliance and continual improvement.
- Act as the subject matter expert on all tax matters and be the primary contact internally and with external advisors.
- Support the annual audit and financial statement preparation with deferred tax calculations and disclosures.
To succeed in this role, you will require:
- 3-5 years of experience working in tax, either in-house or at a chartered firm.
- CA/CPA qualification.
- Experience managing tax compliance in multi-company and cross-jurisdictional corporate groups.
- Experience with transfer pricing and tax law interpretations.
