About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Procurement Officer to join our Sydney team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing marketing and general overhead expense requests, allocating them to vendors for quote and execution, and managing procurement requests to ensure they are delivered to budget, highest quality, and within project timelines.

Duties and Responsibilities:

The key functions of this role will include:

  • Managing the RF(x) process
  • Carrying out commercial evaluation, risk analysis, and lead negotiation with vendors
  • Managing process, project, and risk management
  • Understanding contract obligations and working with internal stakeholders to highlight key milestones and obligations to the organization
  • Working with internal stakeholders to carry out strategies for approaching the market
  • Drafting term sheets and special conditions and reviewing them internally with related departments
  • Designing and implementing financial templates to measure charge rates, deliverables, and outcomes (key vendor KPI)
  • Managing internal systems to ensure they are up to date
  • Coordinating with the contracts team to ensure deliverables are achieved

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have at least 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, familiarity with marketing cost and billable hours, and proficiency in Excel and SAP. You will also need to be able to work with internal stakeholders to carry out strategies for approaching the market and have excellent communication and negotiation skills.
