**Job Title:** Asset Management Adviser Key Responsibilities:
  • Play a key role in the development and launch of the university's Asset Management System, aligning with ISO 55000 best practices.
  • Assist in maintaining asset data, including asset data collection and condition surveys, to ensure UWA facilities remain fit for purpose.
  • Foster an asset management culture at UWA by facilitating training and process improvements.
 About You: 
  • You must have relevant qualifications, ideally in engineering, mechanical, electrical, or refrigeration, or demonstrated equivalent competency.
  • Substantial relevant experience at an appropriate level is required.
  • Demonstrated asset management and facilities management knowledge is essential, particularly PAS 55 or ISO 55000 understanding.
  • Strong lean and six sigma knowledge is also desirable.
  • Previous experience in CMMS (computerised maintenance management system) applications such as Maximo is advantageous.
 Key Skills and Qualifications: 

This role requires the application of asset management knowledge in a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to work effectively in a team.

The successful applicant will be highly organised, with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.

A background in engineering, mechanical, electrical, or refrigeration is desirable, but not essential. What is essential is that you have relevant qualifications, substantial experience, and a strong understanding of asset management principles.
