Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Security Operations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our cybersecurity team, you will be responsible for monitoring and responding to evolving cyber threats.

This role involves wearing many hats, from analyzing threat intelligence feeds to conducting vulnerability scans and coordinating remediation efforts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitoring and analysis of emerging cyber threats through intelligence feeds.
  • Planning, execution, and reporting of phishing simulation campaigns and user awareness activities.
  • Vulnerability scanning and coordination with stakeholders for remediation efforts.
  • Supporting incident response and operational security activities.
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of security controls and standards.
  • Staying current on cyber trends, tools, and techniques.
  • Communicating technical risks and findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

A strong background in cybersecurity operations is essential, ideally gained in a fast-paced environment where you've had to be versatile.

Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in cybersecurity or adjacent fields (e.g., systems/network engineering).
  • Experience in cybersecurity operations, preferably in an MSP, SME, or lean team environment.
  • Familiarity with cyber threat intelligence feeds and practical application.
  • Proficiency in vulnerability scanning tools (e.g., Tenable, Qualys) and remediation workflows.
  • Exposure to phishing simulation platforms and user awareness programs.
  • Solid understanding of IT infrastructure: applications, networks, servers, and endpoints.
  • Strong communication skills — written and verbal — across all levels.
  • Industry certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH, Security+, CISM) are a bonus.
