Position Overview:
The Regional Quality Manager plays a pivotal role in supporting the Clinical Governance team. This position is tasked with the establishment and ongoing maintenance of quality and clinical governance systems across various business functions, ensuring the highest standards of quality, care, and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Regional Quality Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Fostering a culture that prioritizes quality and excellence.
  • Leading the implementation and ongoing maintenance of the Clinical Governance Framework and Quality Framework.
  • Facilitating effective engagement with local teams regarding the Quality Management Systems.
  • Monitoring compliance with quality assurance activities, including audits, and addressing any identified issues.
  • Assisting in the preparation of responses to external regulatory bodies within specified timeframes.
  • Engaging with national focus areas in Clinical Governance, reviewing best practices, and recommending strategies to enhance care standards.

Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field such as nursing, health professions, or quality management.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in Quality Management within the health or aged care sector.
  • The ability to travel as required.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and influencing skills to foster collaboration.
  • Proven expertise in quality management and regulatory compliance.
  • A solid understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards and guidelines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Australian Working Rights.
