Job Title: Community Support Worker
About the RoleWe are seeking a compassionate and dedicated support professional to provide in-home assistance to older Australians, helping them with daily tasks, transportation, and social support.
Responsibilities- Travel to visit clients across Hornsby, Thornleigh, Pennant Hills and surrounding areas.
- Provide support with day-to-day tasks as outlined in the client's care plan (cleaning, tidying, laundry, and related tasks).
- Transport clients to appointments and shopping.
- Prepare meals for clients.
- Offer social support or respite for family or carers.
- Assist with personal care including showering and dressing where qualified/fully trained.
- A genuine passion for delivering high-quality care to older Australians.
- Comfortable interacting with a diverse range of people.
- Excellent communication skills.
- A reliable team player.
- Understanding of workplace health and safety protocols.
- Certificate 3 or 4 in Individual Support is highly regarded but not essential.
- Australian driver's licence and access to a registered motor vehicle is essential.
- Competitive hourly pay rate + km reimbursement (99c per km) + paid travel time.
