Employment Support Specialist

We are seeking an Employment Support Specialist to join our team, providing guidance and support to individuals seeking employment.

About the Role
  • Manage a remote caseload of customers
  • Assist with call flow and general appointments
  • Booking new referrals and general appointments
  • Conducting reminder calls for next day's appointments
  • Conducting virtual appointments with customers
  • Assessing customer job search efforts
  • Matching customers to suitable vacancies

The ideal candidate will possess a genuine passion for working with those in need, strong interpersonal skills, and ability to meet individual targets and contribute positively to the site team.

About You
  • Passion and drive for helping people find employment
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to develop positive relationships with a diverse range of customers, employers, and staff
  • Ability to assess, match, and refer customers to appropriate job opportunities and to advocate directly to employers
  • Ability to achieve individual targets and work to clearly defined KPIs
  • Minimum typing speed of 30 WPM
  • Strong administration skills and IT literacy, data entry, and typing skills, Word, Excel, and Outlook experience
  • Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
  • Previous experience in the employment services or call centre industry or similar will be highly regarded

You will also be required to:

  • Have a minimum Certificate IV in Employment Services or Career Development or willingness to undertake
  • Have experience in Employment Services or a related Service industry
