We are seeking highly motivated, skilled, culturally sensitive, customer-focused individuals to meet current and anticipated vacancies at the Band 3 and Band 4 levels within Personnel Security Vetting (PSV).

About the Role

You will gather information from various sources, conduct interviews, process security clearance assessments, and provide timely, high-quality recommendations regarding security clearance outcomes.

Key responsibilities include assessing suitability of applicants for security clearance in accordance with the Protective Security Policy Framework and AFP governance frameworks, managing your own allocation of vetting assessments, and delivering results within agreed timeframes.

  • Gather information from various sources and conduct interviews to support security clearance assessments.
  • Process security clearance assessments and provide timely, high-quality recommendations regarding security clearance outcomes.
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, proficient written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to liaise effectively with a range of clearance subjects.
