Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned security professional to join our team as an External Security Vetting Quality Assurance Specialist.

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting quality assurance across security clearance cases, ensuring that all vetting processes meet the required standards.

This role involves implementing and continuously improving our quality assurance processes, setting new benchmarks in quality excellence in vetting.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in personnel security vetting, with experience in conducting quality assurance checks on security clearance cases.

They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct ongoing quality assurance checks on allocated security clearance cases, ensuring compliance with established procedures and policies.
  • Implement and maintain quality assurance policies and procedures to ensure consistency and excellence in vetting.
  • Support the development of training programs and materials to enhance the skills and knowledge of vetting analysts.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on complex security clearance cases, utilizing their extensive knowledge and experience.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum Negative Vetting Level 1 (NV1) clearance, with the opportunity to upgrade to NV2 as required.
  • Certificate IV in Government (Personnel Security Vetting).
  • Proven experience in personnel security vetting, with a strong understanding of security clearance processes and procedures.
