At The Star Brisbane, we are seeking highly skilled professionals to join our team in the Surveillance department. With a staged opening in 2024, we are commencing a new chapter in entertainment and leisure in Queensland.
About UsThe $3.6 billion Queen's Wharf Brisbane development is a joint venture led by The Star Entertainment Group alongside its partners. When complete, Queen's Wharf Brisbane will deliver four new luxury hotels, more than 50 new food and beverage experiences, significant luxury retail, the restoration of nine heritage buildings, and around 1,500 residential apartments.
Job DescriptionWe are now seeking expressions of interest from Control Room & Surveillance Professionals looking to be part of the opening team with staged start dates in 2024. As a member of our Surveillance team, you will be joining a high-performing team that values safety and takes pride in their work. The team is responsible for providing an effective and efficient response to all safety and security communication needs for the property, striving to maintain a safe environment for our team members and guests.
Key Responsibilities- Surveillance Trainee Operator: Assist in monitoring and responding to safety and security incidents
- Surveillance Operator & Surveillance Technician: Monitor and respond to safety and security incidents, and perform technical tasks as required
- Duty Manager/Shift Manager/Surveillance Operations Manager: Lead and manage the Surveillance team, ensuring effective and efficient response to safety and security communication needs
- Surveillance Analyst: Analyze data to identify trends and patterns related to safety and security incidents
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Previous experience in a surveillance role
- A high level of personal integrity
- The ability to work in an extremely restricted and confidential environment

The estimated salary for this role is AU$65,000 - AU$90,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
