We are seeking a Postdoctoral Research Associate to join our research stream focused on intelligent sensing and control frameworks for megaprojects.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct high-quality research in intelligent sensing and control for complex project environments.
- Develop and implement AI-based algorithms, such as Graph Neural Networks and Deep Reinforcement Learning.
- Design and simulate dynamic models of megaproject systems.
- Prepare and submit journal articles to high-impact publications.
- Contribute to competitive grant proposals and research impact activities.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary researchers across engineering, management, and Artificial Intelligence.
- Supervise or mentor research students, where appropriate.
About You:
- A PhD or near-completed PhD in one of the following fields: Project Management, Systems Engineering, or Artificial Intelligence.
- Demonstrated research expertise in AI/ML algorithm development, Dynamic Modelling and Simulation, or Reinforcement Learning.
- Proficiency in Python and related computational toolchains.
- A strong interest in interdisciplinary research bridging project governance, systems thinking, and intelligent control.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Solid experience with advanced AI algorithms.
- Prior experience in both qualitative and quantitative research methods.
- Familiarity with megaproject delivery models or complex infrastructure systems.
- PhD in relevant field.
- Research expertise in AI/ML, Dynamic Modelling, or Reinforcement Learning.
- Programming skills in Python.
- Strong interest in interdisciplinary research.
