About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sales and Design Consultant to join our team at Laminex Australia. As a Sales and Design Consultant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and expertise to architects, designers, and clients, guiding them in creating modern living spaces using the Laminex product range.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert advice and guidance to clients on the selection and specification of Laminex products for various applications, including kitchens, bathrooms, and laundries.
  • Work closely with architects and designers to understand their design requirements and provide tailored solutions using Laminex products.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, and designers to ensure repeat business and referrals.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, product innovations, and industry developments to provide expert advice and recommendations to clients.
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop and implement sales strategies and promotions.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a sales and design role, preferably in the building and construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of cabinetry and construction principles, as well as current design trends and product innovations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, architects, and designers.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet sales targets.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field (e.g. interior design, architecture) an asset.
