Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic communications plans to achieve business objectives and engage with local stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and develop effective communications solutions.
  • Design and deliver communications campaigns across multiple channels, including digital, print, and social media.
  • Build and maintain relationships with local media, community groups, and other stakeholders to promote the City's brand and reputation.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of communications campaigns and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in communications and marketing.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in corporate communications and major/complex campaign development.
  • Proven digital communications experience across multiple channels.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and customer service and relationship building skills.
  • Highly developed strategic communications development skills.
  • Strong understanding of media issues and ability to work with the media.
  • Strong understanding of consumer research methodologies.
  • Highly developed planning, campaign, and brand management skills.
  • Extensive experience and knowledge of marketing and communications strategies and ability to recommend changes and improvements.
