Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Motor Vehicle Recovery Professional to join our team. This role is perfect for someone who is focused, results-oriented, and passionate about providing excellent customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage motor recovery claims to maximize outcomes.
  • Investigate liability and identify recovery opportunities from third parties and their insurers.
  • Negotiate settlements and pursue recoveries through direct contact, legal channels, or external providers.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally throughout the recovery process.
  • Monitor recovery performance and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Evaluate all claims in line with RAC Insurance policies, procedures, authority limits, legislative and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to a supportive team environment.
  • Deliver service that consistently exceeds member expectations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience in recoveries, debt collection, or claims handling.
  • A strong understanding of motor vehicle liability principles.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and dispute resolution skills.
  • High attention to detail and the ability to make informed decisions based on evidence.
  • Empathy and professionalism when handling challenging conversations.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
  • A team player who actively supports and uplifts others.
  • Previous experience in the motor insurance industry (highly regarded).
