Cloud Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Senior Cloud Python Engineer to help deliver key projects across our cloud platform.

Responsibilities

  • Designing, developing, and maintaining backend services with Python (FastAPI framework exposure ideal)
  • Building and scaling APIs for internal and external applications
  • Deploying and supporting solutions in GCP (or other public cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure)
  • Contributing to architecture discussions around performance, security, and scalability
  • Collaborating closely with frontend engineers, DevOps, and product teams
  • Writing clean, testable, and well-documented code

Requirements

  • Exposure to FastAPI (or similar frameworks like Flask/Django, with interest to learn FastAPI)
  • Hands-on knowledge of public cloud platforms (GCP ideal, AWS or Azure also highly regarded)
  • Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, and asynchronous programming
  • Ability to hit the ground running and work effectively in a hybrid team

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases (e.g., Postgres, Firestore, DynamoDB)
  • Knowledge of Terraform or IaC for cloud deployments

About this Role

This is a mid-senior level contract role with potential to extend. The position involves a mix of office collaboration and remote flexibility. You will be working on exciting, impactful projects with a modern tech stack.
