Product Development Manager Opportunity

The role involves overseeing the sweetener portfolio and related functional foods to ensure quality and competitiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and management of overseas relationships, focusing on pricing, specifications, and supplier performance.
  • Drive business continuity through key customer accounts and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Provide insights into competitors and trends, identifying new product development opportunities within the sweetener portfolio.
  • Develop strategies to grow the sweetener range and enhance market position.
  • Monitor sales forecasts and stock levels to ensure uninterrupted supply and address quality issues as needed.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in the Australian Food & Beverage industry.
  • Strong background in account management.
  • Tertiary qualification in Product Management, Account Management, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of B2B sales experience in the Australian Food & Beverage industry.
  • Experience in Product Management and Key Account Management.
  • Desirable: Experience in ingredients' selling B2B with non-sugar alternatives, new product development and market research leading to successful launches.
