Senior Project Lead - Water Treatment Plant

This is a senior leadership position responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle of construction and upgrade projects for water treatment plants.


The successful candidate will have experience in project management, specifically in water treatment plant construction or upgrades, and will be able to lead multidisciplinary teams to achieve project goals.


The Senior Project Lead will be responsible for developing and managing project plans, budgets, and schedules, as well as overseeing construction and commissioning of treatment systems to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards.


Key responsibilities include building and maintaining relationships with clients, water authorities, and regulatory bodies, monitoring and reporting on project progress, financial performance, and regulatory compliance, and driving sustainable outcomes by optimizing processes and reducing waste.


Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage project plans, budgets, and schedules.
  • Lead project teams to achieve project goals.
  • Oversee construction and commissioning of treatment systems.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Monitor and report on project progress and financial performance.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • 5+ years of project management experience in water treatment plant construction or upgrades.
  • Strong knowledge of water treatment processes and Australian water regulations.
  • Proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.

Skills and Experience:
  • Project management software proficiency.
  • Engineering tools proficiency.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Strong commercial acumen.
