As a key member of our multidisciplinary team at Westmead Hospital, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate data capture within the Patient Administration System and Electronic Health Record.
This is an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse workforce that fosters collaboration across clinical and non-clinical teams. You will be working in a dynamic environment that offers access to a vast public transport network, onsite cafes, and childcare facilities.
The role involves performing routine data quality checks and reporting on findings. You will also collaborate with the Health Information and Records Service team to ensure seamless integration of patient data.
Key responsibilities include:
- Investigating and resolving duplicate patient registrations.
- Serving as the main contact for updates to key patient identifiers (e.g., name, date of birth, address).
With experience in health administrative functions and knowledge of document imaging, patient administration systems, and Microsoft Office suite, you will excel in this role. Excellent communication skills are essential for building strong relationships with colleagues and patients alike.
This is a temporary full-time or part-time position up to 2 years, offering a competitive hourly rate. The successful candidate will contribute to a positive team culture and work across all WSLHD facilities as required.
