Key Responsibilities
  1. Design Management: Oversee the design process for our construction projects, ensuring that all design deliverables are completed on time and to the required quality standards.
  2. Project Coordination: Coordinate with project stakeholders, including architects, engineers, and contractors, to ensure that all design elements are integrated and aligned with project requirements.
  3. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate design-related risks, ensuring that all necessary measures are taken to prevent delays and cost overruns.
  4. Communication: Develop and maintain effective communication channels with project stakeholders, ensuring that all design-related information is shared and understood.
  5. Quality Assurance: Ensure that all design deliverables meet the required quality standards, and that all necessary quality control measures are in place.
Requirements
  1. Qualifications: Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management and/or Architecture.
  2. Experience: Previous experience in a similar role in a Tier 1 or Tier 2 environment.
  3. Design Experience: Extensive design experience with both large new builds and fit outs.
  4. Compliance: Sound understanding of design principles and relevant compliance codes in construction.
  5. Negotiation Skills: Sound negotiation and influencing skills.
  6. Technical Skills: Exposure with navigating SharePoint and Aconex.
  7. Communication Skills: Excellent communication, organisation, and time management skills.
  8. Team Focus: A strong team focus.
