Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Communications and Events Specialist to join our organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing communication strategies for events across various business units, including planning, execution, and measurement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create communication strategies for events tailored to the audience and type of event
  • Work closely with the Communications team to access all communication channels and support the events team in driving successful events
  • Understand how to get the most out of platforms such as Zoom, EventsAir, and HubSpot to bring events comms to life
  • Build and maintain rich stakeholder relationships across all business units
  • Events comms
  • Receiving briefs from the events team
  • Building comms strategies and plans tailored to the event
  • Writing and executing communication messages across all channels
  • Utilising existing and new channels to communicate
  • Working with the Design Studio to bring comms to life
  • Measurement and reporting of all communication campaigns
  • Agenda and speaker consultation
  • You'll have input and help drive decisions on agendas and speakers
  • Create engaging presentations, working with internal speakers
  • Delivering on our team objectives and key results
  • Creating and uploading content on the company intranet communications solution
Requirements:
  • Marketing or Communications degree equivalent
  • Previous experience in a similar role, ideally 5+ years
  • Knowledge and expertise in executing communication campaigns across all mediums
  • Social media experience (reporting and engagement)
  • Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint), EDM tools (e.g. Mailchimp, Active Campaign) and or marketing automation platforms (e.g. Hubspot)
  • Ability to coordinate and manage multiple stakeholders and understand their needs
