Job Overview

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Representative to join our team in the Domestic Manufacturing Branch of the Guided Weapons and Explosive Ordnance Group.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct Audits and Quality Surveillance activities of manufacturing procedures, processes and products.
  • Interpret specifications, drawings and requirements, and ensure the Prime manufacturer complies with product specification.
  • Support investigations into cause and effect, root cause analysis and corrective actions to verify manufacturing issues that affect quality are appropriately addressed.
  • Understand statistical sampling as related to specification requirements, understand all quality control stages (gauging, inspection & testing) and have knowledge of defect control, treatment and segregation.
  • Interpret statistical process control and implementation (control charts, UCL/LCL) to support production.
  • Verify Lot Acceptance Tests are valid and interpret results.
  • Support processing of deviations and variations to enable product acceptance or rejection.
