Quality Assurance Specialist

As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be part of the Domestic Manufacturing Branch of the Guided Weapons and Explosive Ordnance Group within the Department of Defence.
Your primary responsibilities include conducting audits and quality control activities, interpreting specifications and requirements, and supporting investigations into manufacturing issues.
You will also be responsible for verifying lot acceptance tests, processing deviations and variations, and implementing statistical process control measures.
The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of explosive ordnance production and sustainment, as well as excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
They will also be passionate about ongoing self-improvement and professional development, with a willingness to undertake additional quality assurance training.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a team that manufactures and sustains large calibre munitions for the Australian Defence Force.
