Job Title: Senior Learning & Development Officer
">As a Senior Learning and Development Officer, you will have the opportunity to work on a unique six-month contract with an Australian government organization in Brisbane.
The role involves designing, developing, and delivering culturally appropriate e-learning content and blended training programs to enhance digital and professional capabilities of Indigenous peoples.
You will identify the skills required for the role against a Digital Skills Framework and develop a matrix of skill competencies.
Additionally, you will engage and consult with stakeholders to define role requirements and co-design models of delivery.
It is also your responsibility to identify existing training or develop content to support professional development.
Furthermore, you will facilitate both in-person and virtual training sessions to build knowledge-sharing capacity across 30 Indigenous Knowledge Centres.
Collaboration with stakeholders is essential to ensure that training programs are respectful, relevant, and aligned with Indigenous cultural values and learning styles.
About You: We are looking for a candidate with five years' experience in training development and delivery, preferably within community projects. A qualification in Training, Education, Human Resources, or other relevant field or equivalent work experience is necessary. Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS), learning tools, and virtual training platforms is also essential.
