A Permanent Part-Time Qualified Or Non-Trade Role

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled individual to support our school's services, including cleaning, building and grounds maintenance. This is a permanent part-time position that requires working 3 days a week.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Non-specialised repair work
  • Undertaking general gardening tasks including preparation and planting procedures
  • Operating, maintaining and adjusting turf machinery under general supervision
  • Responding to alarms, following emergency procedures and preparing incident reports, inspecting and securing buildings
  • Providing assistance to qualified tradespersons in building and furniture maintenance
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Demonstrated ability to follow direction, prioritise and meet set deadlines
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills in working with a range of personnel
  • Support for the mission, teachings and ethos of the Catholic Church's work in schools
Experience and Qualifications:

This role does not require a trade qualification, but you will need to have relevant knowledge, training or experience.
