Job Overview
A dedicated Trade Supervisor is required to oversee and develop the skills of inmates at the Ground Maintenance Unit. The role involves coaching, instructing, and encouraging them to improve their work skills and contribute productively to objectives.

 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and develop inmates to enhance their work skills and post-release employment prospects.
  • Oversee team activities to ensure productivity efficiency and commercial objectives are achieved.
  • Maintain Workplace Health & Safety, Quality Management requirements, and customer service needs.
  • Lead by example and promote a positive work culture.

 

Requirements:
Certificate III in Correctional Practice or ability to complete it within specified CSNSW timeframes;
National Driver Licence and willingness to drive a vehicle while performing the role;
Relevant trade qualifications with post-trade experience in Horticulture, Landscaping, or Building/Construction Carpentry.
