Job Title: Trade Supervisor

We are seeking a proactive and dedicated individual to oversee trade activities and manage a team of inmates to enhance their work skills, improve post-release employment prospects, and contribute productively to objectives.

About the Role:
  • To supervise and develop inmates through managing, coaching, instructing, and encouraging them to improve their work skills and contribute to business objectives while ensuring workplace health and safety requirements are met.
  • Oversee team activities to ensure productivity efficiency and commercial objectives are achieved while meeting quality management requirements and customer service needs.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and train inmates in various trade activities to enhance their employability upon release.
  • Monitor team performance to ensure productivity and quality standards are met.
  • Maintain a safe working environment by enforcing health and safety protocols and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Current Certificate III in Correctional Practice or capacity to complete it within specified timeframes.
  • NSW Driver Licence and preparedness to drive in the course of performing the role.
  • Relevant trade qualifications (Electrical, Building, Plumbing, Mechanical, HVAC).
