Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mining Operations Specialist to join our team at ConsMin. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating various mining fleet equipment, including Cat 6020B Excavators, Cat Graders 16M, Cat Dozers D10T & D10T2 & 854K, Cat Dump Trucks 777F/G and Cat Water Carts 777F.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy equipment in a production environment, ensuring safe and efficient operation.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on equipment, including cleaning and lubricating.
- Assist in the preparation of drill patterns and waste dump pushing.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and report any issues to the Team Lead.
Requirements:
- Minimum C class drivers' licence.
- Current National Police Clearance (No older than 6 months).
- Significant experience operating heavy equipment in an open pit production mining environment.
- Strong commitment to following health, safety and environment policies and procedures.
- Excellent organisational, communication skills and high attention to detail.
