About the Role:
The role of Workers Compensation Specialist is a critical position within our organization, responsible for the processing and management of workers compensation claims. This includes notification of claims to relevant authorities, processing medical certificates, and calculation of entitlements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and manage workers compensation claims with due diligence and attention to detail
- Notify relevant authorities of claims in a timely manner
- Process medical certificates and accurately calculate entitlements
- Provide guidance and support to employees and managers on workplace injury and illness prevention and management
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to workers compensation
